Thanks. No Improvements I should Consider?

I would go with a cheap x4 like the phenom 970 a great chip that can oc well. The x6 phenoms aren't as good in gaming if you need the extra cores I would wait for bulldozer as they will be better. Overclocking a phenom x4 would be my option.

Also I would get a 750watt psu leaves more headroom for crossfire.

I agree i would look at a n pII x4 processor. The x6 provides no gaming advantage.

Thanks I'll switch to x4. Also, should I wait until bulldozer to buy the system, or just stick with an x4 until second gen bulldozer?
You can definitely wait for BD if you want. But it's really up to your personal preference since a 965 or 970 x4 will do fine in terms of gaming. I have the x6 1055t but I have noticed that CPU driven games (specifically, SC2) can stutter some at stock speeds when there is a lot graphically going on, even given that I have a radeon 5870 GPU.

Depends. If you're happy with the X4, no need to rush things with an upgrade.

Also, looks like an awesome build. I'm loving Gigabyte's 990* boards. The only things I would change is to buy a 750W PSU (just in case you ever need it - you won't initially) and perhaps grab a 64GB SSD if you can squeeze one into your budget.

Yer I'll upgrade to a 750W PSU. I also don't think I'll rush into bulldozer but will have an AMD3+ motherboard in case.
