Thread Starter
After I changed everything on my PC except my Case and GPU, I suddenly get these strange noises when moving the mouse, especially when I scroll. I don't even have to move the mouse and I can still hear a "bssssssssssss" sound in the backround.
These sounds are really unpleasent, can someone help me out, plz? D:

Thx, Pino.

My system does that as well, it's most noticeable using the scroll wheel but moving the mouse does it too. I never did figure out what causes it. I assume interference of some kind.

I've had this issue, but I dont think I ever got around to actually trying to work it out. Is the refresh rate for the GPU correct for your particular monitor?

Oh, I also want to add that when I skype with someone he claims to hear those noises too. They also say it is pretty loud, never had these issues with my old build...

How can I check that?

Is this problem unsolvable? Kinda ridiculous imo, since the noises are very very disturbing. D:

You might be getting interference from your mouse cable running beside your audio cable. Try moving them so they don't cross each other and see if the sound is still there?

Hm, they actually don't cross at all, since I have my headset plugged in in the front and my mouse in the back.

Well you would have to look up what rates your monitor supports and then change it under the control panel for your GPU. But this actually sounds more like a sound card issue. I did a quick google search and it seems like the causes are far and few between with each person having their sound coming from a different part, but if your friend can hear it on skype then I am wagering on the sound card.

Try either a different sound card or replugging the cables into the motherboard (some suggested a grounding issue).

Do you get the sound if the headset is plugged into the back as well? If so, its likely what shadowedice suggested, grounding issue or faulty soundcard. Could also try a different mouse.

I just plugged my headset into the back and the noises are gone!
So, will I have to change the whole case, to make the front-ports work properly?

thx for the tips, btw =D
