XSPC X20 - any good?

A friend of mine gave me a XSPX X20 750 pump/res combo. I can't argue the price but how good are they? I want to drive a pair of swiftech mcr320 rads with it.

Thanks

Read up that it was pretty good the pump, high performance and quite quiet.

If you're running 2 rads and a average/low restriction CPU block, it'll be plenty. They aren't bad pumps by any means, but they get a bad rep because they are known to have a noise issue. When I received my first X20 750, it had a loud buzzing type sound, RMA'd it, and the second one I got was whisper quiet, luck of the draw I guess, but people on OCN complain about the issue all the time.

If you wanted to throw a GPU block in the loop, or were planning on a high restriction CPU block, I'd look for a more powerful pump, like an MCP350 or MCP355, possibly even a D5/MCP355.

I would go for a MCP350/355 or 655. The X20 I received with my Rasa 240 kit lasted about six months, and all I had in my loop was the XSPC Rasa CPU block and RS240 rad. It worked well while it lasted though.
