I am calling for SERIOUS Gigabyte MOBO and i2600k Discussion - let's do this fella's!

What can we do to compile perhaps a series of results or tests?

How can we take the Gigabyte P67 series boards and the i2600k to a certain level, then compare the numbers?

I just want to have a better understanding to what modifications and settings, produce what results and why?

I see certain people Disabling and Enabling settings and I don't know which is effective and which isn't?

I guess I am just trying to localize the "Gigabyte" brand motherboard functions and the "i2600k" to see what is working best, which settings are more "COMMON" and to understand why?

Does anyone want to try and help? I see the same OC Guides on the web - they don't work - some of the settings might work for some people, however no one system is the same.

If I have the same board, same CPU, perhaps (without the same cooling) the numbers should all punch up the same, I know different batch's might have different levels and restrictions but we should still some how evaluate these variables.

I dunno, let me know what you all think? I am just looking for a solid discussion thread with the Gigabyte+i2600k ---- and of course I want everyone else's opinions as well - but that way we can use the ideas and expertise, knowledge and know-how from other brands to fit the peices of the puzzle together.

Of course I want to focus on the setup I have bceause I invested a lot of money and time into the system, the performance, the liquid cooling and ambient cooling to provide for this overclock experience that I seem to hit or miss.

I never read solid answers and I hope with the hundreds of people out here we can maybe do it?

I am saying this with all complete excitement- no complaints here - just good will! smile.gif Holllaaaaa back!!!!

You should probably take a look at the gigabyte thread in the Motherboard section. You'll find many people with the same motherboard/CPU combo and their results.
