Some More Pics. Also, I need to finish the following;
*Order Orange 22mm Bulgin Switch when in stock. Part number ele-759 from FrozenCPU. Guy said the ones they had in stock were a different brand than the rest of the switches I orderd at that time.(I have Lamptron switches.) When this is in stock I'll order the rest of what I'll need. *Replace rear stock 140mm w/ Noctua NF-P14-FLX *Add a front 140mm fan in the drive bay.(Also a Noctua NF-P14-FLX) *Replace the 2 Corsair H70 stock 120mm fans w/ 2 Noctua NF-S12B FLX *Wire White LEDs switch and LEDs *Locate White LEDs *Wire Red LEDs Switch to the Sound Activation Switch and to red LEDs. *Locate red LEDs *Make video card PCB cover *Make sound card PCB cover *Then on to the outside. I may have something up my sleeve. It would be different from the design in the beginning of this project. After playing the BF3 BETA I'm again inspired.

I forgot to take pics of the wiring for the mobo 24 and 8 pin, video card power, SATA data and power which are all run under the 1/8" plate. I hand sanded and sealed the plate with 3 coats of a satin finish. The wiring you see in the back is only for the 4 front panel switches, thier LEDs. 4 fans(top 200mm, front 230mm, side 200mm and the Noctua 140mm fans.

It will work but I need to order some other stuff and I was trying to keep it all on one order. I need to also get a white switch(I think I burnt out the LED), 2 Noctua 140mm and 2 Noctua 120mm fans. I may have to just bite the bullet and order them from separate locations.

So is there a way to have the LED on one of the switches(Orange) to act as the hard drive activity light? The catch is that I want the light to stay on when there is no hard drive activity and when there is have it blink. Is this possible?

Oh, certainly, you flip the negative side instead of the positive side. Its a trick we used when installing car audio in certain vehicles for power antennas.

You use a relay (in this case, a reed relay) and use it to cut the ground when the HDD activity activates the positive.

Normally, you use a relay to route the positive side through it, you just do the opposite in this case. You hook up the negative side of the coil to one of the through put sides, and the neg side of the LED to the other. Then the positive side of the coil goes to the positive lead on the HDD indicator header. I can draw you a diagram in paint if you need it.

Want to add, that you need a N.C. (normally closed) relay for this, not a normally open which are the most common ones.

Alternatively, you can use a 5 pole relay and use the inside pole for this, is this diagram its pole 87. You would feed positive to pin 85 ONLY, then negative to 86 and 30, your negative output would be 87.

A diagram would be great! Also is there a way to do it without the use of a relay?
