Hey guys.
Can anyone recommend me some good overclocking motherboard for 80 euros for this configuration.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
Memory: 4 GB Kingston 1333 MHz
Graphics Card: MSI HD 6950 2 GB (not the twin frozr)
Hard Disk: 1 TB Samsung Seapoint F3
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus
PSU: Seasonic SS-500ET
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+

I found the Asus M5A87 but i doesn't have VRM cooling
Can anyone recommend some other good overclocking motherboard ?
Thanks

What store do you intend to buy from? Perhaps we can help you by looking there
Random suggestion I have without considering budget: ASUS M5A97

Which one is better from those 2 ?

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

or

Asus M5A97

Thanks

The 970A-UD3 features an improvised VRM setup (8+2) over the one on the M5A97 (4+2). However, both are cooled with a heatsink and of good quality. It can make a big difference on an x6, but on a 955 it's not a huge difference.

So, which one would you recommend, or to i only go with the cheaper one ?
Thanks

Gigabyte ga-970a-ud3 am3+ is better for future proof if you going to upgrade to x6.

The 970A-UD3's improved VRM setup will come in handy if you choose to buy an FX processor with more cores (ie 8 core FX).

I would say the UD3 is an all arround nicer board.

I think Giga still uses analog PWM, which i think is a plus over ASUS' digicrap.

I think i heard somewhere that Giga started using a digital PWM on their 9xx boards, so maybe i am wrong.

I believe the digi PWM is only on the higher end UD5 and UD7 boards.
The UD3s (970A-UD3, 990XA-UD3, and 990FXA-UD3) share the same analog PWM design with high quality, deriviated from the high quality designs found on higher end 700 series and 800 series chipset boards.

EDIT: Okay not sure about digi VRM, but the 990FXA-UD5 and UD7 do use Driver MOSFETs.
