Dell XPS 15Z vs ASUS N53 Series N53SV-XV1

Thread Starter
Helping my friend choose a laptop and both of these are about the same price. The dilemma is of course the usual with laptops. The Asus has better specs (quad core, higher resolution, better graphics card), however the Dell is smaller, lighter, has a better battery, and will come with a free Xbox 360, which he needs because his just crapped out.

Here is the Dell

Here is the Asus

He's pretty stuck between the two and I'm unsure about laptop performance with processors and gpus. Obviously I understand a quad is better than a dual and a 540m is better than a 525m but I don't know by how much, and if it's worth the loss of portability and the xbox.

It's mostly for college really, he is going to play some games, like League of Legends and other mmos. But not a lot of hardcore games that need to be fully maxed.

Any suggestions are appreciated and will be repped, thanks guys.

Both should have Optimus to save battery. I would go for the Asus since it has better performance and Asus is great quality. The free Xbox 360 is just the crappy 4GB Slim, I would save up for the 250GB Slim instead.
