The big switch...

So for years I've been an AMD guy for years, The last Intel machine I built was a P3 650, and I think I was able to oc it to just under 800. In the past (for the most part) AMD has been good to me.

But I think now is the time to make the switch back to Intel. I was just on Newegg and I ordered:

I5-2500k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115072
Asus P8P67 Pro 3.1 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131771
GSkill 2x4GB 1600 Cas9 memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231428
Corsair H60 Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=h60%20corsair

So the order is in. Hopefully, I will get it by Wednesday. Go Intel.

Actually, I have two 250GB drives sitting around. I'm going to RAID0 those bad boys and use them as the boot drive/gaming drive.

You could always get a 20-40GB SSD for just the OS, and save things to a bigger drive (I recommend this). I've found they're quite cheap, and after doing some searching, why not go for this or this?
