[Exophase] The Witcher 2 "Version 2.0" teased - Page 5

hmmm.. i'm not very far in the game. Maybe I should hold off on playing it until this comes out so that it doesn't turn into a scenario of the game adding a bazillion more quests that I've already progressed past or some stuff I'll never see without playing through again.

the game-world was tiny. pathetically tiny. i loved it at first and every act and quest left me wanting more. by the time i got to act three i was over it entirely.

people don't realize that the world in witcher 2 is static scenery which means that you do not interact with everything the way you do in a title like crysis.

and supersampling is a joke.

that being said, i saw a ton of tessellation in some indoor scenes on that video at the source, and particle blur in the snowy mountains

lol The Witcher 2 looks way better than Crysis 2. The textures are also much higher and not consolized as Crysis 2. Crysis's 2 hi res pack was a joke. Not much of an improvement.

Turn off uber sampling and turn on dangling object limit. I never drop below 60 fps with xfire 6870's.

You sir are a horrible liar, my GPU and CPU BLOWS yours away, yet I cant get 30 fps due to all amx with Ubersampling. You see my rig, My Phenom II 955 @ 4.0 ghz doesnt even touch these cards. AT MAX I can get 40% usage on each so...

Yes you are a horrible liar.
