1.5 Volts is spec max on VCore... it is below that under 4GHz overclocked load... no problems running that way for months... although I smoked an MSI Mobo 2 weeks after running the same settings... VRM's died... CPU was okay.

Keep in mind it's the dirt cheap Asus M4N75TD Mobo... wasn't made to supply all that overclocking juice as well as say a Sabertooth... (like the one I have waiting for a Bulldozer right now to put in my 800D box...)

I don't like the fact I'm hitting 60.
Stock clock, Core temp tells me my cores idle around 26-28.
Should I re-seat my cpu? I know there is a "break-in" with AS5

ur good as far as ur temps are under 62c with 1.55vcore...
as for u, i would put ur vcore up to 1.45 and than try to play with multi and fsb so its stable around that voltage...

I would think you need to reseat your cooler if you are hitting 60c core temps with only 1.5v. I can set mine at 1.57 and never break 55c. At my current voltage I never break 49c in Prime, and it was only a little bit higher on a crappy air cooler.

I didn't see but what TIM are you using?

I am on air, using Coolermaster 212 with Arctic Silver 5. I spread it out on the bottom of the 212 with a card, and applied a small dot to the heatspreader.
I know it says 200 hours, but I think these temps are a lot higher than what others are getting with same proc/cooler.

I may just try and reseat it.

Ok, I re-seated my cpu and heatsink. I also went from an up/down to a front/back to see differences.

Idle at stock speeds was 24-27...didn't see what stock load temps were.

So it looks like I gained a few extra degrees. Temps don't go down if I push on top of heatsink, there is no horizontal play with it either (im sure if i put a lot of pressure there would be)
My case is all intake in front, bottom, with exhaust in back and at top.

Going back to square 1, 200 fsb x 20 starting with 1.43 vCore.

You guys are very helpful, I can tell I'm going to like it here.
