Zotac Zbox HD-ND22

There is no option to adjust the voltage of the CPU and GPU

Now we begin to mod the voltage.

MCP7A and Intel Celeron SU2300 Chip.

@ the OP- on your NB mod pic.. I see power coming into the IC... but dont see any mosfets in-line after the IC.. It may just be rectifying its input voltage of +3.3v or whatever.. down to the 1.05v you are seeing..

What kind of frequency gains are you getting out of these mods?

you may be right.

default frequency
CPU @1.2G @1V GPU @450/1100 @1.05V

before mods
CPU @1.6G @1V GPU @500/1150 @1.05V

after mods
CPU @1.86G@1.05V GPU @700/1800 @1.35V

I found the power supply IC 'RT8152D' too weak to provide so much power to CPU. when the CPU voltage over 1.1V the system will become unstable. so I adjust CPU voltage to 1.05V.

I found the unknow IC is RAM PWM controller.... voltage output is 1.5V

Maybe some extra capacitance or some higher rated inductors would help beef up the supply Have you thought of adding larger 16v caps for the input phases ? A proper capping might just have enough in it to hold that .05 of vcore your looking for.

ICZ88 you are one brave tech, bravo!

is the CPU on a socket? I like the ZBOX form factor but the CPU is too slow for games

An SU9600 should work, maybe even a T9600

any thoughts?

thx!

-edit-

btw I was able to OC the CPU to 1.6 and the GPU as well, which should help with games

thx for the info!

CPU soldered onto the motherboard. It's very difficult to swap it.

I think OC GPU will more helpful.

Hi ICZ88,
I'm new on the forum and I have the same ND22 you were working on.
I found your posts but I can not see the pictures anymore.
Do you have a way to make them available again?

Thank you!
