help finding suitable processor for asus m3a-vm

hi

I am new on this forum...And I am clueless. Am Not very knowledgeable when it comes to hardwares.

So please help me in finding suitable AMD processor for asus m3a-vm motherboard

will any of these be compatible
AMD AM2+ Quad-Core
AMD 770 AM2
AMD Phenom

I dont know the difference between these

The CPU Support list detail which CPUs are supported by related BIOS version.
You will have to determine which BIOS you currently have and you'll see that when the PC BOOTs up and displays a the first page of text. Look for the BIOS version there.
You may have to update the BIOS to be able to support all possible CPUs that are available and work in your system.

Find out which BIOS version you have currently and compare the available recommended CPUs for that BIOS ver. for the easiest upgrade.
