Flocko I really do hope that is your PC on chilled water or air and not on snowball

The case is both looking both good and terrible. Hopefully I can iron out enough of the terrible to... well make it presentable.

Lol .... no . That is 4.0 ghz on air . Drew would kill me if that was Snow Ball . My liquid chiller would do about 10C at that load . I am condensate proofing my classy 3 right now and should be able to bench Snow Ball by the weekend worst case .

Okay ... enough puking on on your thread , sorry

Sorry, I haven't had much time to work on the case so I am just setting up my system without it for now. Do you guys think it will work 24/7 for a good ammount of time, or should I shut it off every once in a while? and how often?

It is a Tecumseh AJA2425ZXA.

The most important consideration for 24/7 operation would be the quality of your insulation job. It must be sealed up perfectly.. no exceptions. As far as the cooler, a properly tuned phase unit can run 24/7. Just make sure all the parameters we discussed are within range.

It might be rare but power failures, brownouts and pc crashes can cause serious damage. You never want a situation where the phase unit is left running completely unloaded for extended lengths of time as you'll come home to a frosted mobo. On the flip side you never want a situation where the pc is trying to reboot without the cooling. This is where a controller comes in handy, I believe LD offers them. You could also make a simple shutdown with a PID controller and relay.

Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for a case. If there's anything I can help you with just holler.
