I honestly think the PCIe3.0 is least of your worries. By the time you do want to upgrade, you'll need a new board, and chances are PCIe2.0 still has yet to use its full potential. :/

Got to admit, I'm loving mine.

Is it a must have? Nope, and won't be for some time --and doesn't even support PCIe 3.0 without an Ivy Bridge processor.

If you're getting a board though, and there's good boards with it, as fuloran said, why not get it anyway?

EDIT (9/11/11): Asrock board has been returned. Replaced with a PCIe 2.x board from another vendor. Wait to consider Asrock until their BIOS kinks have been worked out.
