Thread Starter
Im getting my new mobo so Im trying to go as high as possible without hitting 56. Wanna be at 55 max. I hit 4ghz with 1.36volts, NB at 2.6 and ive done prime95 for an hour and intelburn for about 30times without issues. Am I stable?

Seems like it, go play Crysis.

Im @ 2400Mhz NB with a +.025 increase and had to increase my ram voltage +.020 to get my system stable. (8-8-8-24 1T)

The CPU voltage is stable @ 1.4 i just set it to 1.425 to make sure...

I dont have crysis I might try to tighten my timings.

Wow seems like you got a good cpu to get that high on such low voltage.

Thats why I'm asking. Never seen a 955 at such speeds with low voltage. btw we have the same monitor

Yeah you could definitely do something about those timings.

If your just uncertain about stability, just run 8 hours or more of P95 on blend.

Just let it run for 25/30 mins while I took a shower and it came out all good.

CPU @ 4ghz
NB @ 2.8
Ram @ 1333 9-9-9-24-33
max temp was 53C

Im going to let it run while a watch a movie and see what happens.

You can't claim of being stable until you've run Prime95 Blend for 10+ hours and LinX at maximum memory for 30+ runs. And even then, it can crash while folding.

Exactly, if you want to test stability then fold.

I use the same motherboard (MA78LMT) and I have got my 955BE running at stable at 4.2GHz on default voltages and timings.

I crunch Docking and it flies through units.

Also have a 1055T on the same board clocked to 3.5GHz.
