question about Furmark

Thread Starter
I am currently trying to OC my SLI 260's I know what im doing mostly since ive done stuff like this for most of my 21yr life.

In Furmark, it shows that each GPU is running 400Mhz Core and 300 Mhz Mem.
I currently have my gpus running at 700/1400/1050. idk if its just furmark being off or what.

Also, i know there was a page about OCing the 200 series and i was wondering if someone could link the page or tell me where the straps are and such.

Your OC was unstable so your cards lowered themselves to their low power 3D clocks as a fall back. A reboot and then more conservative clocks should take care of that for you.

I'm not too up on these older cards (relatively speaking I know) but my 260 216 will only actually accept clocks that are like 25 Mhz apart from each other, if I select in between those it will jump to the closest one. So yours may do the same so watch your monitoring graph in MSI AB to see if they are actually going to exactly what you put them at or if they are going above or below it.

That is what straps are right?

So i found out that its the mem clock thats causing it to be unstable. got a nice black screen and was welcomed back to my desktop with an error. I really dont get why i can even increase the mem clock at all. it always causes an error

Yep almost exactly, it just is still getting regular updates. I don't know if precision is but while there is very little difference most people prefer MSI AB. Can precision do custom fan profiles? That may be something AB has up on it.
