I'm kindof leery about SSD's, All I find is complaints about crashes, drives just crapping out, etc.

You know what, I'm going to take the plunge, and get that drive.

Depends on the drive. Newer drives see a lot less problems (Although there are still some to stay away from) than the first gen SSDs. Been running strong for 8 months on my G.Skill Sniper

Tax return ended up getting knifed apart a lot harder by bills, so I will be buying parts as I have money.
