First Build - H100 and Corsair 600t case

Thread Starter
Hi everyone -- I'm doing my first build, OC 2600K, MSI 580 gtx Lightning Extreme 3Gb (will expand this to two in SLI), Asus p8p67 pro motherboard, and I like the white 600t Corsair case. Will the H100 liquid cooler fit in this case? Since this is my first build, I need advice about whether this is an easy install or difficult for a newb like me. If the 600t doesn't work well with the H100, is there a better case, or will the H80 work well too? I like a quiet rig, too. Thanks for you advice!

The 600T will fit the H100 just fine. You can fit and mount the radiator perfectly on the inside top of the case. Thats how I had my 240MM radiator mounted.

You will be left with more than enough room as well.

As for difficulty, its VERY simple. If you can screw a fan onto a case, you can screw a radiator on..

IMO the H100 is nice and all but i have an OC 2500k and i use the slightly older H50. My cpu is FROSTY too. The H80 would be more than enough. May I ask why you dont go for a tower like the 800D? sort of like the big brother to the 600t

Why would corsair make a cooler that doesn't fit in one of their most popular case??? Yes it does fit in it...

Also, 800d aint the big bro of the 600t.

600t is in the graphite serie cases.

In the obsidia serie you have the 650D, 700D and 800D.

I'd go with a 600t white SE or a 650D. Both fit the H100 perfectly.

Imagine what kind of situation Corsair would be in if one of their top-line cases couldn't fit their top-line cooler.

I used the word "big brother" because i would not be putting those components into a mid-tower case. 800D is a different series but offers many other things for a build like that

Thanks everybody I thought the case would fit, and I like the white. I read some posts where people said the H100 was a tricky fit with the 600t so just wanted to check and make sure. I'll get the case, the H100 and start in on the build. Again thank you 8D

If anything it's tricky to do push pull with 4 fans on the H100, but the standard configuration should work fine.

Push pull with four fans... Is there any info on how to do this well? My understanding at my novice level is I want to have cool air pulled into the case and the warm air pushed out of the case. If I mount the radiator on the top, I'm visualizing that the push won't quite be there. I'm hoping to avoid heat accumulating in the case. This is also something I'm wondering about and how to get great airflow with the H100.

You'll either have to pull out of the case... or push into the case. Pushing in will only leave your rear as an exhaust... pulling out will have the rear and top as an exhaust...

You won't be able to push / pull without a lot of modification to the case. There just isn't the room.

Between push and pull it's either gonna be around 2-3c higher GPU or 2-3c higher on CPU.
