post #1 of 10
Thread Starter

I would first recommend the Kilpsch Pro Media 2.1's, but those are a little over your budget, ~$140 USD.

I found these on the egg, I have a set of logitech 5.1's and I love them, this 2.1 set looks alright;

Edit: this Corsair set doesn't look to bad either;

Klipsch Promedia should be worth it if he loves bass.

I Second the Logitech Z 2300!!!!

Best 2.1 System I've ever heard. The sub makes for a great footrest, lol .. jk. but no really..

The sound quality is very very good. THX Certified. Just, amazing sound. My parents always tell me to turn them down when they're home.. but they just sound so good! Bass adjustment separate from sound adjustment. Great set of speakers.

I got my Promedia 2.1's for $80 shipped on ebay, brand new. I've read comparisons of the Promedia's and the Z2300's, and people prefer the Promedia's.

Another vote for Z2300s. Incredible sound system especially for its price point ($120-$130). Seems to be sold out on Amazon and Newegg at the moment though.
