GTX 560Ti Heaven benchmark Error - Page 2

No that's not it at all man. I'm just trying to give you the best advice that I can and also trying to give you the encouragement to stick it out through the parts of OCing that aren't very much fun.

ya, gotten what seems like hundreds of those. Pushed the gpu to far is what causes mine i suppose. What have you done to oc your card, the more exotic the cooling the better the results. Some cards are duds some oc like champs, luck of the draw. There is the option to play with the cards bios to squeek out some more performance.

My card will oc well over 1ghz but its watercooled.

well what i have done to get my oc, well let 1st say with help from juano
i have been doing alot of benchmarkings with Heaven ,3DMark11 ,3DMark Vantage ,Folding playing games for days now just to see if there is any tearing ,heating issues among other things and im only on the Stock cooling and i know people gonig to tell me to get an after market cooler and i know this, but when you have other thing more important to do that has to wait, but im not gonig to a world record im just trying to get the most PPD from folding as much as i can, but now i know what that error means so now that im sitting @ 970 and i pass all the tests and gaming and folding with np im very happy, just wish i could do 14k PPD lol

I'd say that you're doing well.

Your PPD may be just a hair low for what I'd expect out of 970Mhz, but I don't think it's a real problem. I think it's just the WUs you've got now, if you want you can check your PPD against these results here. That list is based on the points of the WU and I'd think 14K seems about right so a little bit under that seems okay to me.

If you wanted to you could try lowering your clocks down to 960 and see if your PPD actually goes up. If it does then that means that 970 may be too close to the edge of instability for folding but I don't think that's the case. I think your card should be pretty stable by now and the PPD you're seeing is within normal differences between WUs.
