Hi there. I'm looking forward to buy a new LCD monitor, a square one to be precise due to the shortage of space on the desk. Main purpose is gaming. I found out only these two 5:4 monitors in TN panels.

Dell E170S

Dell E190S.

Both of them differ only in terms of screen size.

On Dell's site it is listed that those two have a response time of '5ms(typical)'. What does typical mean in this context? Is it good enough for gaming?

There's no review to be found anywhere for that monitor. Please answer my question and give more info on that if you own or have seen that monitor or please suggest a 4:3 or 5:4 monitor under $190 suitable for gaming. Thank you.
