Troll much?

Personally I think folding is a noble endevour. However, some people just do it so they can up thier personal and team ranks for bragging rights....which kind of basterdizes the whole thing imo.

I am also very skeptical about Folding and to be honest, even charities in general, so I agree with you for the most part.

It's simply taking the same task and making it more fun and actually giving people more incentive to do it. Most charities like to play on a premise and having it as a competition can only help it.

Will data derived from FOH be used by well meaning people in the medical field to do something useful? Probably. Unfortunately the impetus of research in this world is not on healing people, it is on finding ways to kill them. This means that the very same information which might be used to treat some malady will also be used to find another clever way to rid the world of "useless eaters". And if you are among those conned into believing this is a good thing just remember that to the people running this world EVERYBODY reading this post is a useless eater.

reads this ands lol irl and boosts pcs overclocks n folds harder, seriously though if thats how you feel about it then good for you, many people who fold have been affected by a cancer or other disease if not them someone they care about if it takes time to help produce any sort or cure its great news if it helps speed things up even better, its up to you weather or not you want to do it not someone elses mind, i will keep folding because i think its a great concept and dont care if i pay extra on bills as i stated above i fold for someone i care about and thats all that matters to me, also this person im talking about passed on 12yrs ago.

If you think that more effort is put into healing people than to killing people in this world when all of history and all the facts say otherwise then you are the "tinfoil hatter".

Why even force your negative attitude down peoples throats?
This forum is third of all folding teams. Don't you think you should be waiving your fail stick around elsewhere?

Put it this way. If there was a project out similar to folding to help find a cure for being downright stupid. I would invest every dollar I had just to shut you up.
