Hello guys, I got 150$ and will buy a new 21.5'' wide screen monitor for gaming.
I have some questions.
Does HDMI effects the quality in games?confused.gif
And is there a big noticeable difference between 5ms and 2ms ?

Which monitor should i get? just for gaming.

P.S I hate when get blury texts appears on LCD's I dont want one of them.

Thanks smile.gif

HDMI is a cable. As long as a cable is digital (HDMI, DVI, display port are all digital) and has the bandwidth to drive your resolution, there are NO differences in quality for the average guy, period.

No real difference between 5ms and 2ms. They are measurements of how long a display takes to change a color to another. However, since they are measured in gray to gray, the real life application will greatly differ from the number. A 2ms monitor might end up with more ghosting than a 8ms one.

Look at the asus VH series for gaming. Relatively good monitors, and might fit in your budget depending on the store you buy them from. Probably your best bet for a monitor in that price range.

If a text is blurry on an LCD, it's either due to an unnative resolution being run (literally blurry text) or the antiglare coating (looks like sand on your monitor). Which kind of blurry text are you referring to?

and I got this monitor its good in price: http://www.dynax.co/asus-21-5-full-hd-lcd-widescreen-monitor-vw227d/ Whats your advice, is it good for gaming?

How bout this one? http://www.dynax.co/products/Asus-VHS232H-23%22-Wide-LCD-Monitor-%252d-23%22-WIDE-SCREE-VH232H.html

It's a bit larger. Only a bit.

I really have no experience with the VW series, so I wouldn't know how it compares against the VH series.

Yeah I got it now the ASUS 21.5" VW227D smile.gif the 23'' Asus VHS232H 23'' is cooler but much expensive when you compare to the 21.5" VW227D in my country, because they take%18 tax.

The ASUS 21.5" VW227D is 175$ in my country, and it looks great for me. Thank you for explaining things.
