MCR320's top mounted in M8 and fittings question..

Thread Starter
Wanting to know if anyone has MCR320's top mounted in the M8 and has used fitting adapters to lower the rad fittings to be the same height as the wiring hole in the middle panel.

Basically when I built my rig, with the MCR's mounted internally, the fittings were too high to go straight across to each other using the wiring hole in the case. I tried 45's but the amount of room I had to work with made trying to get the tubing onto the fitting too difficult.

I know I need something like this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=26349

Just wondering if anyone has done this and what size or specific adapter they used so 2 90's allow a straight shot with the tubing.

Here's what I wound up doing that I'm trying to change:

Quick paint look at the change I'm talking about:

And the height difference I'm referring to... Basically the oval hole to the left of the rad fitting.. I need the tube to be coming out of a 90 at the same height as the oval hole.

Let me know if a little more clarity is needed here. Also any other alternatives people might have used to make that connection a straight shot are welcome. Just wanting to get rid of the excess tubing in that area.

it would allow for a straight shot along with the usage of a 90 degree, but you wouldn't want to use the koolance ones, but instead the bitspower extenders since you can get them in mulitple lengths. Instead having to buy 3 or 4 of the koolance ones you could just get 1 bitspower one for each side

^^This. You could probably use the Bitspower double rotary 90*. One for each side and it should be good. They would give the angle and the drop needed to match the opening I would think.

Thanks guys.

The reason I linked the Koolance ones is that I use all Koolance comps. Nothing against BP, I just like the cup style better than BP's.

I'll look into the BP dual 90 and I know exactly what adapters Stallion is referring to.

This isn't something I'm going to do tomorrow or anything. Just compiling a parts list for the first loop revision
