Hello i am a no0b for overclocking, my problem is i have a p8p67 DELUXE and was just playing around with the auto tune utility that came with the board.i tried to auto tune my cpu. It looks like its doing something but does nothing. somtimes i get a BSOD. I am guessing maybe its because of my power supply doesn't have enough watts to OC because of my components. Heres my specs:

ASUS p8p67 DELUXE
GTX580
i7 2600k
Seasonic M12 80Plus 500 620W
8G (4Gx2) 2133 G.Skill Ripjaws-X
Coolermaster Universal Hyper 212+
ocz vertex 3 120gb
WD Black SATA3 1TB

what do you think guys?

When you say does nothing, what do you mean? Are you stress testing it after you make changes? Do you have cpu-z/prime95/IBT/Real temp?

Responses are not going to be instantaneous.

There are more experienced people that frequent these forums than myself, but I would venture a guess and say that your PSU is not the issue with it being a 620W. I would go ahead and read these threads as they've been an incredible help to me and they might be of some assistance to you as well:

http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...ed-guides.html
http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...-core-2-a.html

Also, do you have any screenshots that we can see? CPU-Z, Realtemp, etc would probably be very helpful to those trying to help you.

Not enough Watts to power that monster try a 700W or higher.

The utility that came with the board called "AI Suite 2" has an option to auto tune automatically and it configures automatically in windows 7. you should be able to see the CPU performance go up bit by bit until it stops at a suitable OC. The thing is my one doesn't go up stays at 0% and loops a stability test.
