Power consumption is about 150watts. It draws about 13amps at 12v. No more than a standard video card.

what you quoted is the max rated wattage on the actual tec.

would be really nice if it had bolt-down holes for 1336 and 775.. as well as a 2nd PCI-E plug to help with input power.

I could definitely add the 775 bolt pattern, but as for the 1366, thats what this blocks big brother is for..

rasa kits still need maintenance... would it be possible to get one without the traditional water block and with mounting holes for an H100? or is this something already out there? (i dont pay much attention to TEC & WC)

What country are you based in? because I might just buy one of these on my payday.

Do you carry any sort of warranty?

And do you have any plans to make the 400SDD fit for other sockets or have universal mounting so to speak off for future upgradability?

Make it compatible with AM3[+] and you'll get my money. Otherwise I'll have to pass.

So just to get things clear, this will cool an overclocked 2600k down to around 55c on full load no matter what your ambient temperature is in your house (16c-32c)?

Or does how well you cool the TEC affect how cold it can get...

And the maximum wattage it will EVER pull is?

Max wattage it should ever pull is around 150W from your PSU. It works with a Rasa Triple Rad but if you have something better it'll keep the temps more steady in comparison and should drop the temp a bit more.

But due to thermal transfer transfer inefficiencies from the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader), it's no fault of the block, but it may or may not be able to lower it much more. If it wasn't for those problems (they exist in the die of the CPU too), the Cores themselves would be around 15°C.

After looking at this stuff more closely (never that interested in TEC's before) I'm pretty sure I NEED this...I wonder how much my wife thinks I need it though?
