Hello I have an ASRock Fatal1ty Performance Series Motherboard. Now myne question is ( this mbo supports PCI-E 2.0 x16 ) and im wondering when GTX 600 series of nvidia comes they'll support PCI-E 3.0 , so will PCI-E 3.0 graphic cards work on my motherboard since it's 2.0 or i need to get 3.0 motherboard? ?

Thx !

PCI Express 3.0 will also be compatible with 2.0 and maybe 1.1. It really depends on whether or not the new cards have enough bandwidth to push the limits of the new PCIe architecture. Currently, x8 2.0 vs x16 2.0 offers less than 4% difference, even at high resolutions.

The main target so far will be SSDs and RAID cards (I/O intensive).
