Can I overclock to 4ghz witout disabling any processor features

As in the title, Is it safe to overclock an i7(980x) without needing to disable any of its features such as c1E, turbo-boost, speedstep, vtx, etc
just wonderin :S

Yes, you only reerally need to disable the C1E feature and turbo boost while overclocking.

Reason to turn of turbo boost after the overclock is because you will have to make sure your processor is stable at the boosted speed.

Also, c1e is completely useless unless you are going to use software to overclock, and since no one has a need to do that and its not something you do on a regular basis, I wouldn't worry about disabling that either.

It really is all about what helps keep the cpu stable. turbo boost and c1e don't really help performance on an OC'd cpu.
