Windows 7 will not boot with RAID 1 plugged in

Apparently my windows will not boot with my RAID 1 HDDs plugged in without getting a black/blue screen with x0000___ error. It will only boot properly when RAID drives are out and the bootable SSD primary drive is only plugged in.

The steps I went through before this problem happened was I configured boot priorities to CD first, then setup my RAID configuration in BIOS, and had all drives plugged into my hotswap bays before loading Windows 7, and then finally switching my boot priorities back to SSD.

What is the causing me to not boot windows with my RAID 1 now? Or what should be the proper steps to installing SSD as primary boot drive with RAID 1 storage? please help, I'm learning as I go.
