z-axis issue is not enough,
they added lift-off freeze issue on imperator spotted by several people

Horrid.

Razer are idiots. They forgot about their loyal fans who built their company up.

Not quite they just, play the, market. People want high dpi and laser; therefore razer is doing good. Most people don't care about acceleration or malfunction speed, only about high dpi. Theres also the trend of, laser is better then optical.

Had
Dback - no issues
Dback Plasma - no issues
Dback 3G - no issues
Deathadder - no issues
Salmosa - no issues
Krait - no issues
Lachesis - Random axis freeze
Imperator - random disconnects, squeaky wheel
Mamba - no issues

So...Razer isnt bad, but some mice have issues and they cant fix em

Yeah, it's too bad the Imperator has QC issues and a crappy sensor, cause the ergonomics of it are nice.

They had a good start but now starting to sink in the sand with lazy and bad products.

The Copperhead was their golden hour.

There are mice with flaws, like the acceleration on the Xai or the prediction on the EC1/2, and then there are mice with utterly defective sensors, like the Imperator or the Kinzu. If I played for a Razer sponsored team and they insisted that I use an Imperator (hypothetically), I would sooner quit the team than use it. The mouse is garbage. This Z-axis thing isn't a small issue for people who lift off their mouse, and lifting off your mouse isn't something that only noobtards do. I direct you to this video of rapha:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr0okpCP8TA&feature=related

He lifts his mouse off about twice a second in this video. Imagine him trying to play with a mouse that jerked 150 pixels down to the right every time he did that.

Should be added he has one of the highest sensitivities of all pro players. And he still has to lift his mouse off. If you don't have to lift your mouse in a FPS your sensitivity is too high.

To me it seems dumb to buy a mouse with a flaw that will limit you to a certain kind of game, but that's just me.

Laser mice are way more susceptible to dust and hair. I found it didn't like quick and large movements either.
