Is this a proper method to transfer my games from HDD -> SSD?

1) Uninstall it from HDD using RevoUninstaller.
2) CCleaner to delete old registries.
3) Defrag with *dunno what to use*
4) Reinstall games on my SSD

Good? Bad? Suggestions?

Or, to save yourself hours of hassle

Use junctions or symbolic links

I use this tool (http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinks...kshellext.html) to move some of my games off an HDD to an SSD. Basically you can copy the source directory onto your SSD, and then link that new directory back to the original directory.

Everything looks as though the data is in it's original place, but it's actually being run off the SSD. Like magic

Looks like a good idea. Already followed this guide to make a junction for my user folders. Thanks.
