You don't need to play like a moron or test for it to feel the inconsistent positive acceleration.

I have put many hours into the G500 and the Xai in hopes of getting used to them but I was never able to develop any amount of muscle memory with either one. Because of this I couldn't consistently land flick shots with the Xai or the G500 but with other mice that don't have any positive acceleration I'm able to.

EDIT: I just realized you were the guy who can't feel the kinzu's enormous positive acceleration....

I can feel it sometimes, but it doesn't bother me - at least my flick shots are perfect. I'm actually quite dominating sometimes in awp-maps (cs 1.6).

I found the acceleration in the Xai to be very noticeable.

Here's an important opinion on the forum with a processor of Deathadder Black Edition :

So I just got mine today, and it seems the v.1 firmware isn't working so hot for me. Think the newest regular deathadder firmware would work ? For instance when I'm in a game (lets say wow) and reading the quest text while leaving the mouse in one spot without touching it, it will start moving around in circles. I just switched from a mx510 and am loving everything about the mouse, except the one glitch. I was hoping someone here could help =/ Anyone know where I can go to get help if no one here can? I really, really don't want to send back the mouse, I just want it to work. From what I've read it shows the same problems the 3.5 did before the updated firmware came out...

The DeathAdder Black Edition seems to have the same problems tracking at the beginning or the DeathAdder Refresh has not yet good firmwares.

If someone with the 2 Deathadders could compare their tracking and tell us if the DA kidding when it would be nice ! thumb.gif

I have the regular deathadder 3G and I can say I've never had any problem like that ever with that.

As far as g500 vs. DA, I'd get the deathadder. Statistics say it's better and so do a lot of people on this forum apparently.

My BE has worked fine since it was released. The only real problem is the high lift off.

I have never had that problem with my DA BE. The only issue I have run into was the high LOD and that was easily corrected with some Scotch Magic Tape.

Great, now you guys have me thinking I need to try a DA too. Just what I need - a 5th mouse on my desk to ponder. =D

DeathAdder Black Edition. I want one. If you don't like the shape, just put the PCB into the Kinzu. Black Kinzuadder/Kinzuadder BE ftw. Also, the high LOD can be easily fixed with scotch tape.

Edit: If you switch the PCB's or leave the DA BE case empty, you'll always have something pretty to look at on your desk.

if the DA black edition and Roccat kone[+] where priced similarly, would the kone[+] emerge as the better mouse?
