Same here, if im in the gaming mood i play TF2, other than that i usually watch movies/go outside. Although i just acquired the godfather trilogy and am now playing the games, i just put a hit out for the grenadas.

I used to be like that too, it just takes finding a game you can settle on. In-between main games (like between when I quit Guild Wars/TF2 and started League of Legends), I just played a couple of the other games I had for like half an hour or an hour and then got bored and resumed Youtube/forums/whatever. A big thing for me too was finding a bunch of friends to game with. Gaming alone is no fun (imo).

I felt exactly the same way, and at that time I turned to extreme overclocking! More fun and very interesting, albeit a little more expensive...

I hear you. You just have to find the right games. I would say I don't buy many if any of the big title games anymore. I mean, sure, I plan on getting Guild Wars 2, but no one outside of the PC world knows about that game. Red Orchestra 2 is another PC exclusive. The games like Battlefield and Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed just aren't fun, or just seem too repetitive. Shooters today don't seem to revolve around shooting anymore, it's all about sprinting and using your knife.

I'm not sure if you've played them, but there are a lot of older games that are WELL worth playing. I'm personally going to get the Oddboxx on Steam today, $7.50 for 4 games, two of them being old school. Psychonauts, if you haven't played it, is certainly worth playing through. Deus Ex, according to many, is one of the best games of all time.

The key is just looking for different games, off the beaten path, to keep you entertained. Anyone would get bored playing the same game or type of game year after year.

I've gone ans switched between systems (pc to ps3 and ps3 to pc) and it helps because when you play the pc people online are much harder and when you go to the ps3 people are not as hard so you can kick ass and feel the adrenaline of gaming again.

I think games can get overplayed...I did alot Resident Evil 5 PC gaming it was fun for awhile on Multiplayer then people just started taking things too personal. I had some a*hol3s start some crap with me because I wasn't doing so good (one of off days) and I was still learning some tricks and they sent me some hate mail. I didnt really lose sleep over it, but come on..what ever happened to just sittin back and enjoying a game and maybe having a cool conversation aboiut what were doing. Because of that I dont go on RE 5 servers as much.

IDK, but I also got my adrenaline back in BFBC 2...I'm a run & gunner not a knifer even when I choose recon class. There is more people involved in that game but every once in awhile I still see cry babies texting...you suck because this or that...it kind of does kill the fun a little bit when people complain. I usually just throw humor into the mix and it lightens things up.

Im sure that some game , from some time , would happen to light that fire right back up.I don't really feel like thinking about it would help you much in this case.

Sometimes disconnection is also a way to get back into gaming.

Yes.
I'm not even pumped for BF3 anymore...
I even bought a 360 to play with my buddies, I'm already bored of it and all the games.
