not that i'm aware of when it comes to a dual controller. i'll leave this up to someone with a little more experience with the more current motherboards. i didn't keep up with the latest tech like i should have when i was working as a mechanic, got back into computers and man am i ever playing catch up lol.

have you updated your bios yet? or are you already running the latest version

i did a quick google search and it seem's your kinda stuck with the performance hit with having raid and your SSD on the same controller. only thing you could potentially do is buy a PCI raid controller and use that and then change your onboard sata ports to strictly AHCI to regain the performance.

is it only boot times where the performance is altered or is it through windows as well?

Performance is fairly uniform once in windows, so yeah, the hit is only during bootup. I've been living with it, since it only effects bootup speed. I gotta learn somewhere how to modify my boot files to trick the HDDs into a delayed boot or something.

Hey thanks for all your help with this. + Props.
