Mic suggestions other than ZM-MIC1

Thread Starter

Hi everyone, I was looking to see if I could get some opinions or help with making a decision on a microphone mainly for Skype use. I was using a Zalman ZM-MIC1 but it was picking up too much background noise when my flatmates are using the TV or appliances or kitchen sink. Cat recently bit through that cable and I've been using that one $20 Logitech desk mic that I kept as a backup, and while my voice sounds better it's even worse with the nearby background noise.

I was looking at the following:

Icemat Siberia Mic

Trying to keep it limited to a clip-on microphone, and am hoping that a non-omni-directional one will fix the issue. Anyone have input or experience with any of these mics or know of a mic I might be interested in?
