That's more than enough. Also, I browse the web a lot and listen to a lot of music every day. I even use Tapatalk to check OCN.

How is that horrible battery life?

I would go with the Inspire over the Atrix any day if not rooting since I hate motoblur.
Were you rooted with a custom ROM or anything because this phone would drain like 40-50% in 4 hours with the brightness at around 25% on the stock sense rom and CM7. It was being used often for texting and facebook with about 3 email accounts pushing to the phone.

If you can last over 24hrs repeatedly without having to plug in then you either have a magical phone or your heavy usage just isn't that heavy.

The 2 day battery seems more like a "it happened once so my phone's battery life is awesome" thing. :/

Really? I was consistently able to get 2 days of moderate to heavy usage (200 texts a day, an hour of browsing on Wifi each day, sending about 5 emails a day, reading about 15 a day, checking the news, and weather) and about 3 with light usage running Cognition on my Captivate. Do you think the Atrix can match that with it's 1930mAh battery?

And I like how the Inspire is $70 cheaper, has a 8MP camera, and a higher quality uni-body design, but if I can't make an entire day (8AM to 2AM) with heavy usage then it's a no go for me.

Also I was looking on XDA, the developer support for the Atrix isn't nearly as good as the Inspire (probably because it supports Desire HD ROM's), but Alien ROM looks good.

no problems yet....i'm running faux's 0.16 kernel
i've literally maxed out the UV for the 2 lowest clocks on tegra 2 (-600mv and -500mv)

nice and snappy with minimal blur on the phone as ken's removed most of the bloat

battery life is average and depends; battery life is excellent on froyo in comparison to gingerbread; moto has messed something up cause my mum's G2 even overclocks can last longer

but my atrix is still enough to last me more than a day

I was reading through faux's thread an unfortunately Tegra 2 doesn't allow more than a 100mv jump between frequencies. If 1000mhz is running at 1000mv then 912mhz wouldn't be able to go lower than 900mv. Read this post:

Both are great phones, I would go with the Inspire cause of two reasons, one, the pentile screen on the atrix. I've used both phones for a month each and I feel like the Inspire's SLCD is superior. The little pixelation on the atrix's screen just bugs the crap outta me. And two, the Inspire's made out of aluminum and feels a lot more solid than the atrix. Otherwise if you don't mind either of those two cons, go with the Atrix cause of the extra power and webtop capabilities.

Heres a comparison of the screens:
This is the iPhone 4's LCD screen, as you can see it looks fine, this is what the Inspire's screen will look like albeit at a lower resolution:

And heres the Atrix's Pentile Matrix:

Of course it won't be That noticeable during normal usage but its something that you will probably notice on lighter colors, heres a better picture for that,

While that may not be the atrix, its still the same kind of screen so that is pretty much what you would see.
I would like to thank Anandtech for those images.

I looked at each at Costco for a bit. I'll go to Costco or the AT&T store tomorrow and take a closer look at the screens.
