Need help triple-folding

Thread Starter
Hi, I need a little direction on what to do when this happens. (see picture)

I just set up ati+nvidia physx. Was just playing metro 2033, I'm going to have to name this computer "wanted to play metro 2033", anyways...

F@H doesn't seem to want to work on my 9800GT. Any ideas on cause/fix?

Thanks

Yes... don't use nVidia and AMD on the same system if you're using v7. It just won't work.

What you need to do is take off the GPU slot for the 9800GT. Then, use this client for it instead:
http://www.overclock.net/folding-hom...gpu2-gpu3.html

There are a couple of extra things to note for this situation:

1) Make sure you don't have drivers newer than v266.58 for nVidia.
2) At the bottom of the OP of that guide, I explain how to add flags for AMD GPUs. Ignore the flags listed, but use the instructions to add the following flags instead:

-gpu 1 -forcegpu nvidia_g80

3) When the icon pops up, rightclick it and choose "Configure...". Go to the last tab, and at the bottom, change the "Machine ID" to 3.

Restart the computer, and try running them now.

ok, didn't work. My 1090T and 6850 are chugging along in their F@H client, but the 9800GT only looked like it was working. When hovering over the icon to get those status messages I'll get messages like "Working 0/0" and "sending", but WUs are never actually downloaded and worked on.

is "-gpu 1 -forcegpu nvidia_g80" the correct line to be using, or should I try it with something else?

edit: also does anyone know how to get those additional items in the work queue that all say "send" to go away? The clutter bothers my OCD....

That's right... Can you post the log?

Rightclick the icon> Status> Log file. Then copy and paste here in [code] tags.

Do you have your 9800 OC'd? If so you need to drop it down, I would recommend stock clocks just to see if it will work. If it does, then you can start OC'ing a little at a time.

Try doing -gpu 0
Sometimes folding reads the cards in the opposite order from bottom up.

unless I am mistaken, if you see the picture in the first post, my 6850 appears to be GPU 0, and the 9800GT is definitely being picked up as GPU 1.

Also, no overclock.
And the driver version is 258.69
