Need a new (sadly budget) GPU. Suggestions please?

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I was hoping y'all could help me out.

I need a new gpu for my sig rig asap, and I'm on a tight budget. I would prefer NVidia, but I'm open to just about anything. Below I've included what I'll use it for and the connections I have.

As for budget, I need it under $150. The cheaper the better, but I can't go higher than that.

Thanks for everything!

GPU Needs and will be used for:
*Triple monitor setup with two DVI and one HDMI connection. (currently at dual with a 23.6" and a 19". I will be adding another 23.6" down the line).
*HD video.
*Light-medium gaming (SC2, WoW, Diablo 3 when it comes out, etc.) on at least Medium settings. Ultra would be amazing, but I seriously doubt I can get that at this price-point.

Thanks in advance again, y'all.

I was looking at this, but I'm not 100% sure it can run everything as I described.

Thoughts?

I don't think you can do triple monitor with current nvidia cards.

For ~$140 you'd be hard pressed NOT to get a HD6790.

I would get a 6850 in your case if you want to run triple monitors on one card. A 460 would trade blows with a 6850 without the triple monitor support.

It's $155 so you'd have yo sacrifice $5 more, but it might be worth it because it's $140 after rebate.

If you get taxed in Amazon, buy it from Newegg.

Check newegg open box you can get very cheap quality cards on there. You will need 2 nvidia cards in sli to run 3 monitors. I would save up and get myself a 6950.

Well, with three monitors that'll strain a lot of cards in this price range... here's some options

DIAMOND 6750PE51GSB Radeon HD 6750 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814103190

MSI R5770 Hawk Radeon HD 5770 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127490

EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130570

Galaxy 60XGH3HS3CUD GeForce GTX 465 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814162052

EVGA 01G-P3-1452-TR GeForce GTS 450 Superclocked 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130573

Don't shoot me for some of the crappier choices in there and a lot of them won't support triple monitor but it could be worth it.

The EVGA GTX460 looks like a nice deal especially with that rebate. The 6790 that Dmac73 posted is a great deal also

*EDIT: that 6850 looks like the best deal yet, snap it up!

Also for 150 you can get a used 5850. That will give you triple monitor and it's faster than a gtx 460.

Radeon 6870

XFX rebates are very reliable, so assuming you fill it out correctly you should get it back.

Took about 6 weeks to get mine back from them

I would wait and save, but the i5's integrated graphics aren't really enough for a long-term thing.
