I found this thread while searching for the same info the OP was. The reason I'm looking for more info is because I bought the rev 1 version back in Feb of this year. It was a great card right up until it died on me a few nights ago. I was playing the original Witcher, and my rig just shut down. No warning, nothing. Swapped the card and the rig works. Put the card in another rig and I got a missing/dead GPU BIOS code. I'm in the process of RMAing it. I noticed that the rev 1 has been discontinued, so I'm likely to get the rev 2 back from the RMA. I was hoping they had redesigned the voltage regulation system, but I guess not.

I don't blame the dead card on Gigabyte, since the voltage regulation is an Nvidia spec. With that said, I agree with Boulard83 that there are better options out there. If I had known about the overworked VRMs before I ordered, I would have gone with an Asus or MSI card with extra VRMs.

yah definitely go with the MSI 570 TFIII or the asus 570 directCUII if you're getting a 570.

I believe they both have the 6+2 phase design and people seem to get really nice overclocks with them.

I ordered my 570 directcuII on friday, I can't wait to get it smile.gif

Is this normal to have one fan not spinning when idle?

I just got a new GV-N570OC-13I Rev2.0 - I'm building a new PC which I can't boot up yet - waiting for RAM. But when I power on, all case and CPU fans spin, but only 2 out of 3 GPU fans spin - the one closes to ports is not spinning. I have both 6-pin power connectors connected, powering by XFX 850W PSU. Is this a sign of a problem? Or would this fan spin under load?

Thanks.
