asus along i5 not i7 i5 uses lover voltage and is overclocked easy along with being cool even at better than i7 eaqal lol i7 is i5 pre over clocked with hyper threading

Maximus IV. However, unless you're going to use all the features that board has to offer, then you're much better off getting a less expensive MoBo and putting the money elsewhere (SSD, better GPU, etc.).

I'd vote for the gene-z of the 2 listed.

Easy...

The GENE-Z if you want mATX,
The MSI if you want ATX.

The GENE-Z is the best motherboard out for Sandy Bridge currently for mATX with SLI/Crossfire capability.

I don't know much about the MSI Z68A-GD65, but I hear it's quite good too. Not the best but still pretty good.
