I need some info on SSDs... - Page 2

I was skeptical as you were at first. My supplier told me i can try it out if I don't like it i can get full refund no questions asked. I never looked back..i even went from a 60gb to 120 gb version LOL.

I build a lot of computers for friends/family. The ones that run on hard drives I can tell a huge difference now, and it annoys me while installing things on their computers.

things that is a must.
good mobo controller
trim support.

if i was u what i would do.
i would get a ssd that is at least 120 gig big. why? so i can install my os, steam, 1 or 3 games, ms word eset or mse and a few other things. then tweak the os to run seemlesly.

is there a huge notice in performance?
yes there is. i have run loads of diffrent raid setups with wd blacks and there was a huge jump from them to the single ssd.
i did a fresh install 2 days ago and needed to do a secure whie etc... and installed windows on to a wd black and wow it was slow.
