New 6950 not working, driver problem?

So I finally got my new 6950, followed all the installing steps, turn my pc on everything is great. until...

-tried to open CCC (catalyst control center) results in screen freezing, going black, going back on and telling me there was a driver which failed.
-tried games, got to cod6 start menu but there was no writing, only the picture
-DiRT3 didnt work either did COD4
-when i scroll in internet explorer i sometimes get fragmentation or something.

This is seriously annoying, help would be very appreciated

This has to be a driver issue.
Use driver sweeper to clean all previous drivers.
Then update driver, directx, .net, and anything that may be related.

Is your card @default settings? If so then it does sound like driver issue. Do you have any other PC where you can try your GPU?

Its a driver issue try installing some drivers new ones and older ones and see how it works. ALso try installing the c++ packages from microsoft before installing.

Which brend 6950 you get

It might be your PSU also, but I advise you to reinstall windows because it sounds something is interfering your new GPU's drivers.
