Take it back to the shop and demand either a refund or exchange. The first time around, they sold you a faulty card. But you should have went back immediately instead of waiting a couple weeks. Also turning in a new boxed card and getting a refurb back when you bought a faulty card is just a bad situation. I'd be threatening to put a chargeback if that happened to me.

What exactly are you basing that observation on? You might hit a CPU bottleneck but as far as crashing is concerned there should be no problems on such a configuration.

I wouldn't have returned it to the shop to begin with. Just deal straight with MSI. You should probably RMA this one if you cannot resolve the issue with a little more voltage. I've dealt with their RMA in the past, and it wasn't fun, but in the end, I was satisfied. I have a gtx465GE that unlocked to a 470, well a fin on the fan broke off, and I contacted them to get a replacement set of fans. Of course, they couldn't do that, that would be too easy. They have me send the card in, which was working fine, they returned a non-GE 465 that didn't unlock. I was livid, contacted them again, and demanded I get either my card, or a gtx470, and my GE twin frozr II cooler (it was limited edition, and numbered). A week later I had a GTX470 with GE Twin Frozr II cooler, with no number. It has a much lower VID than the card I sent in, and OC's much better.

That is kind of your fault for sending all the goodies along with the card in the first place. I've never sent more than just the card itself when doing a RMA. You can't expect a RMA department to take the time to set your stuff aside, and send it back to you.

Guys...the OP is from Finland. RMA system is different in Europe compared to North America. They may not deal with manufacturer for RMA.

Think most computer parts go to the Neatherlands, had good experioence with an ssd from there so maybe ill get lucky

If it's not that great of a shop, that could have also been why it took so long, maybe they sat of the card for a few weeks before sending it in, or something lazy like that.

Honestly the guys at the shop should have told you not to send in all the extras with the board. They probably should have just exchanged yours for another one in stock, and dealt with returning it to the manufacturer themselves.

Now this has gotten me interested. Would you mind telling me what shop this is about (so I can avoid them). All so if I were you would go back to the shop and complain about the card. Depending on the shop some will test the card in there own test rig to verify a faulty component. At the end of the day finnish shops are responsible for the stuff they sell.
