looks good, i am assuming you're preparing for the Bulldozer release?
i also have the Sniper case but i do not really like it that much. Don't get me wrong, the case is freakin awesome looking but it is a mid-tower so i don't have much room to work with.

the second is a case fan for the bottom, of the case. sorry i must not realise the sizes of cases cause when the sniper arrived it seemed massive.

As Hazzeedayz mentioned, Bulldozer is coming up, so keep that firmly in mind. Personally I'd wait until it releases to build your new PC.

If you want a new machine now, though, Intel may be a better choice. The i5-2500K convincingly beats the 1100T, and you can get a P67/Z68 motherboard and said processor for about the same price as the the AMD combo you chose.

Also, SSDs are pretty sweet. If you can spend an extra ~$200, a 128GB drive would be a noticeable addition to your rig.

well since you seem to have a rather high end machine, how much more would you be willing to spend? I would recommend getting a solid state drive for the OS and the applications that you would use the most and use the HDD for save file storage, music, movies, documents, etc. Keep the OS and any game you play often on the SSD so that you can really enjoy having one.

If you want to go SSD I would highly recommend the OCZ Vertex 3 since it is probably the fastest SSD on the market right now and you motherboard is very good for SATA 6GB/s so it will be very good for this SSD since it is SATA 6GB/s.

Here is the Vertex 3 120GB model if you are interested. Although it has some issues that you may run into like random BSOD's. I am not sure if OCZ has fixed these issues yet but just be warned that you may need to return for a replacement, but the chances are not likely of course lol.

Other than that you have a very solid system and one that you should be proud to own!

Well the setup he is going for is going to be perfect for the Bulldozer. So i wouldn't change anything if you are awaing its arrival.
If you didn't know the Bulldozers are AMDs newest processors.
The high-end one is an 8-core at 3.4 Ghz.
I suggest checking them out, the processors will release soon.

Yeah, I'd wait for BD to build an AMD rig, it's way too late in the life cycle to buy a new phenom II, with BD around the corner. I got sick of waiting and picked up a i5 2500k + p67.

You could still do your build, but drop in a x2, and wait for BD, just to have something. I'm not sure what you're using this build for, but if it's gaming, there isn't much difference with the phenom II's from x2 to x4, so I can't imagine it'd be much different for x6, and it'd only be for a couple months.

OH yea this build is for Some gaming bf3 and such and my bro does 3d design he said he needs quite a high end computer for that. thanks for the hints so far, i am looking into ssd drives now and i didnt realise bulldozer was that close to release

not a problem, good luck on the build.
you should do a build log thread. i'd like to see what you decide and how it turns out

In that case, maybe just get a cheap athlon II x4 until BD drops, it may be better for 3d design, either way, by getting a 990 AM3+ board, the only logical thing is to add bulldozer. Hopefully it's out before Oct 25th,
