God save us from stupid kids with massive egos.
Good bye.

PS: You can have 99 processes taking 1% CPU time and you'll still have less CPU utilization than 1 process takign 100% CPU time. (in single-core environment). Now, I don't have the time or nerves to deal with you. Un-subbed.

I max out every game in my sig rig. I have just about every game there is steam name is same if you want to add as friend (Bradford1040) I own about 141 games and telling you with my current set up and with the three others that I own as well the ARMA2 and the DLC's are about the most intensive PC resource hungry game there is, blowing away Metro2033 mafia2 and crysis 1 or 2 with dx11 on what is needed to run them good, I can run just about all the games at avg of 40fps or higher but Arma2 drags that number down also (world in conflict) is hard on the PC as well
I have heard of ARMA, but never checked it out. I went over and looked at some of the reviews and what not and I am impressed. I have several of the newer combat simulation type games like Men of War (also from 505 games), Theatre of War, and Battlestations Pacific (my current fav). I might have to give ARMA a try. I bet this game would be near or at my rig's capabilities.

It really is one of those ether you love it or hate it games, and the ARMA2 free is on steam just FYI in a way like a demo, but the real game is much better

Jagged_Steel also it runs on my old intel rig ok but at the lower res as the screen is only a 720p 32" but I am running 3 gtx260's 216core oc'ed and the Q9550 running at 4ghz and I get about 41avg fps on first benchmark run and second one is only 21avg but game play is a little easier of coarse than the benches, but if you like operation flashpoint games you will love this!!!!

when you run the ARMA2 game pick scenarios and the benchmarks are at the bottom

EDIT PS only said that about the avg fps cause your rig and my sli'n'lan about the same on power for graphics I think

Real life...no computer hardware in the world can play it.

Though Metro 2033 is the new benchmark. I thought this was pretty widely known. If you read the benches and reviews you will see that the only configs that can completely max it at 1080p are some extreme SLI and Crossfire setups. I think even a pair of 580s coupled with a SandyBridge CPU will still dip into the 40's for a minimum fps.

Sure other games might run worse...fire up Neverwinter Nights 2. I think I was only getting a max of 40 fps with crossfired 5850's. EverQuest 2 was even worse. put everything to max and my crossfired 5850's couldn't even make it playable with just a regular group on the screen. However, I don't call being poorly optimized being demanding on your hardware.

Shogun 2 on Ultra. Horribly optimized in Ultra Unit Detail, and shadows drag that down even further. Good luck trying to max that game out at decent resolutions.
