You need to stop assuming. Might be your issue.

Like you once saying that 2ms response times would limit you to 40-50hz (you actually said this, lol). This is utterly false.
I'm sorry, but where did I mention 2ms limiting 40-50 hz in the above post? It is clear as day that I mentioned 16ms. Likewise, you are quoting an OT post geared towards a 1'000'000 post thread on a mistake of using 1/100 as oppose to 1/1000. Common mistakes.

You claim you can get more then 60 fps on a 60hz refresh rate. Likewise, after proven to, rated response time means absolutely nothing. So much for your sig.

Quote:
The main issue here is that given response times are not accurate representations. The ms depends on the transition, and many transitions go over the 16ms limit, even if the panel is advertised as 8ms (IIRC the U2410 was). Let's leave it at that.
Like I stated in my previous post you are referring to, I did not say that response time is directly linked to your refresh rate. Please, stop posting on assumptions. Hence why you've been blocked for quite a while.

I've only made assumptions if something by you has implied something. If I didn't make assumptions, I'd not be able to respond to sarcasm, or anything. There is a certain tone of voice that carries over text as well, and it's awkward ignoring that tone. I can stop doing that in your case however if you don't like me reading what you seem to imply.

I never claimed more than 60 full frames per second on 60hz. The only way possible to get higher is to get screen tearing, where 2 halves of frames can be shown on one frame on the screen. Clearly there has been a misinterperation here. May I note, you have "assumed" as well here, since I never said that.

In fact, at the end of our long argument, you revealed what you thought I was arguing, and it was wrong, I wasn't trying to argue that. You may have not completely understood my point, and assumed that my point was something it was not. You are assuming as well.

This is just an observation.
