Do you want print/copy/scan, or do you have need of a fax also?
If you don't need the fax (who faxes these days besides businesses?), then I would strongly recommend one of the Canon Pixma lineup.
I have 2 of these, one at home and one at work:
It's gone up in price since I bought mine, but you can find them cheaper. I purchased both of mine from BestBuy when they had it for $99 down from $199.
I just put one in for my wife at her office and went with this one:
We chose this because it was on sale for $199 regularly $299 which was the same as the non-sale price we paid for the 640's.
They have excellent print quality (borderless) and auto-duplex printing. You can't really tell a print from a photograph at more than 5 inches. I also like that it has a film strip holder to scan 35mm negs and slides. The 640 has 4 smaller color cartidges (B/C/M/Y) for prints (dye sublimation), and a larger black pigment tank for documents. The 8120 has an additional small gray cartridge. The cost of ink has been very reasonable for the 8-10 months we've had them.
They are very easy to set up either wired or wirelessly.
Just my 2c worth...hope it helps,
