I would be interested as well, I need to get practicing! Blampars gave me a thorough ass kicking in 2 matches to get me warmed up. Started the campaign last night hopefully that will teach me some tricks.

Yeah play campaign a bit before playing with these guys they're pretty good, in multiplayer i'm currently 4-6, i'm pretty bad but i'm getting better what's you IGN?

I don't understand how the scoring works in this game. I just got done with mission 2 where you have to escort that team to the exit. I didn't loose 1 unit and killed all enemies in 10 moves, I think about 3 of those moves there were no enemies on the board. I got a score of 1 and 3 cubes which i think is silver. Can anyone explain the scoring?

3 cubes is the best, I think you got the highest score

i thought we could set up a "test" tournament, im still unsure whats the best way to go about it.

i thought about having to play against everyone in the tournament over x amount of days. the person who wins the most games, wins, if there is a draw it comes to points scored on all matches.

i think about the first tournament as a test to see how we go about tournaments, not really serious, thus the prize for it being a very small indie game.

anyhow, if most people think its too soon we can hold it at a later date, i really dont mind.

as for maps, im not sure, but i think having everyone playing on the same map would be better, sometimes on random generated maps you get a unit who has no way of surviving on the first turn, custom maps solve this IMO.

i dont understand it either, so i just ignore it

BTW: usefull information about multiplayer scoring.

I like the idea of a unit being in a tough spot, but being dead from the get go sucks.

But yeah... Making hand-made maps at this point in time is very laborious, and is prone to bugging (Pathing logic fail, and so forth) so they require thorough testing using that crappy (and hidden) "level editor" :/

I think i have a cheap way to make maps faster and easier. Will test it out and report back to you when you see me on Steam later
