By the way aren't video games supposed to be enjoyed and at some level a separation from the real world? Don't know why you would deal with them not only in a game but your everyday life as well.
I get what you are saying, but what I am trying to say is by comparing it to the real world. Some of us had experiences with co-workers or that member in the group project at school where he/she doesn't do much. Sometimes he/she might be the one that complains or criticize others, but you have to work with them. The difference is that you can report him/her because of their behavior. You can do this in the game too, but sometimes it gets overlooked by the admins. Who said I play with my raging co-workers in the game? I was merely making an example. Besides, most of my co-workers are older than me, who don't really play PC games since they play on the consoles mainly. Unlike some, I can play just fine and not get phased by someone insulting me. Some can't, but I can.

I do play with my friends since they know how to play and don't get mad too often. Whenever they're not on, I just play public games and this is where my posts are coming from.

I didn't mean to imply that the people you play DotA with are the same people that you interact with in the real world, I can see how that may have been confusing.

I'm not sure that comparing DotA to real life scenarios is a valid argument. Gamers can sit behind their monitors and say whatever they want but they can't in real life. (I hope.)
