Got my Mushkin Callisto

Hey Guys,

Just got my Callisto, so I backed up everything on my little 500GB WD My Passport drive. I think I am ready to do a fresh install of Windows on my new SSD. Before I install it, is there anything that I must do before? I read somewhere that I should enable AHCI.

Yes, enable achi.

Install windows.

Install drivers for motherboards, video cards etc.

Run windows experience index which will tell win7 you're running ssd.

Yea new problem, I can't see my Mushkin in the BIOS. I re-enabled IDE and I still can't see my drive. Do you think there's a flash for my motherboard?

Try a different SATA port. I remember I had a problem with a certain SATA port because it was off the wrong controller or it was a slave when it was supposed to be a master, or something along those lines.
